too much information overload!!!

1. I am Canadian
2. am looking for "the Dr." who is specialized in body lift and it is their specialty. Too many Dr's dabble in this and that but do not deal mainly with body lift.

3. very frustrated, want to find a plastic surgeon who can produce numbers telling me how many body lifts a year they do..

4. am looking for input from anyone out there who can recommend a plastic surgeon who is very experienced in dealing with patients who lost a gross amount of weight..

5. would love it, if someone had recommendations from Canada..

6. Appt. Sept. 7 with Dr. Timothy Sproule... (1st Dr. to be seen) in Toronto.

7. would like to have my surgury done in February.

Are you sure you want to limit yourself to Canada?  Dr. Sauceda in Mexico has a lot of experience with us.. those that lost a very large amount of weight. He's good with our skin.  Many canadian have been to him, even those from the west.   His board on OH is

I am very pleased with what he did for me.  Just suggesting an option to staying in Canada.

I'm not just limited to Canada, but there is just too much info out there!! It seems ALL plastic surgeons do body lifts but I want the one who "specializes" in it!. When I had my RNY I went to Dr. Christou in Montreal who taught the other Canadian Dr's how to do it! that was his specialty.. and infection :)..

I saw your surgery was in Quebec, so I know you are willing to travel a bit.   I will write here.  I got a neck lift, a breast reduction and implants, and a very large tummy tuck.  I stayed for two weeks.   It cost $11,400 and that's with the $600 air travel credit he gives you.  It also included all hospital expenses, implants, hotel costs, two sets of compression garments, daily nursing care while at the hotel, he also visited in the evening.  It included pickup from the airport and delivery.  Dr. Sauceda is a miracle worker.. for me :)  And others.  If you go to his page you can ask far more people for pictures, and what his care was.  Lots of pictures on there too.  Some of his clients have lost over 300 lbs, I lost over 200 lbs. 
It cost me about $850 to fly out of Ottawa.

I'm not in Canada, but I do know my surgeon is an expert with bariatric patients who have lost a lot of weight. I lost 200 pounds and had tons of excess skin. I think I look great now and think my surgeon is a miracle worker.

Good luck in your research. I hope you find a surgeon you are comfortable with!!

I am willing to travel.. would just prefer to be closer to home.  I'm open to everything!  who was your  plastic surgeon? Can you email me separate on what you had done and costs?
