I'm 6 months out and I still have swelling from time to time at the end of the day after sitting at work all day. It can take a long time for the swelling to go down.
good luck!

I had my surgery 5/13 and I still have swelling.  I saw the dr today and he confirmed some of my concerning areas were still swollen.

I'm 2 months post fleur de lis (anchor cut) and still have swelling - belly isn't as "hard" as it was but swelling is still there.  I'm still wearing compression garment 24/7.

I'm 6mo out from an LBL, and still notice swelling at the end of the day.  I've been wearing my compression garment at night so I'm good to go during the day.  If I remember correctly, I wore my garments for over 3mo 24/7, then every other day for another 4 weeks or so.  Started wearing nightly about 4 weeks ago and it does help.

I couldn't wear my pre-LBL jeans for almost 8 weeks.

Jenn, be prepared for the swelling to last a long while.  The worst of it goes away within 6 weeks or so but there can be long term swelling too.  I am almost 10 months post op and still swell a bit in the evenings.  I notice it's worse if I haven't gotten all my water in.  It's not horrible or anything...just annoying.  And then again, you may be a lucky one who doesn't experience this at all.  Only time will tell!  But just don't freak out if seems to go on and on and on and on and.....well you get the drift.  : )
