My second stage surgery is 8/26 & will be brachioplasty w/ a BA/BL.  I am having implants but he said he'd have to put them over the muscle as my muscle was way too high on my chest & wouldn't look right if they put the implant under it.  Just FYI, this is the same info that Dr. Sauceda gave me when I was going to go to Mexico for my surgery.  So, I guess what he's saying may be true to some extent.  My Doctor told me sometimes they are able to go under the muscle 1/2 way, but in my particular case I have a long torso & the muscle is just up too high.  I guess they just have to look @ each case individually.

My surgeon didn't recommend doing the lift and implants at the same time.  But said he would if I wanted it.  He said for the best result, in his opinion, do the lift first and see how it turns out.  Then do the implants if desired.  I ended up not wanting implants anyway.

Mine does 2 stages, too, but I miss the fullness on top, so eventually I will get implants. For now, I am happy with my lift.
