Any plastic surgery vets use this product (or one like it) during recovery period?
Looking for honest feedback about something like a back support system.

Thanks all :)

Was there supposed to be a link for us to know what you're talking about? My support garment adds a lot of support for my back.

Laura,

Sorry...I guess that would help!

What did you use for support?

How are you feeling today?

Thanks much,

I think it looks like it would definitely help. I am fortunate in that my mom has an adjustable bed. I will say that lying in any one position too long becomes painful to me. I seem to adjust the bed several times a night to relieve pressure on my back/butt.

I'm feeling great today. I go back to my surgeon tomorrow and am hoping I get the go-ahead to be a little more active. Lying around the house most of the day is so boring!!

HI KELLYGIRL..

My binder was a great support for me, although, I could not stay up a really long time without some pain in my back...I had back surgery three years ago, and I have several screws, bolts, and rods...but I could not have moved around as much as I did, without the binder, that's for sure...Sorry, My post didn't help you at all, did it, with your actual question..?!

I normally sleep in an electric bed so I could adjust the head and knees and that was wonderful.  My favorite chair: I added a firm pillow on the seat and a pillow at my back.  Get up and walk every hour.

Hot shower to low back.  External pain reliever like Biofreeze really helped.  Heating pad and massage.

I keep abdominal binder nice and tight and wore it 24/7 - except for showers.

Heated seats in car help, too.
