How are you doing with the pain?  I'm having my anchor TT, lipo to hips, lipo to my side boobs, breast lift and implants tomorrow outpatient!  I'm so nervous about the pain.  I saw your posts the other day.  I'm excited but mostly worried about the pain.  I've had lots of other surgeries for other health issues but this is a lot to have at once.  I'm mostly worried about the tummy.  Can you give me any more advice now that you are out a little?  My doc said he numbs all the areas he works on so I won't have seering pain when I first wake up.  This is what I guess allows them to do this outpt. I just know how bad it is to try to get up and walk after abdominal surgery.  This will be my 4th. My gastric bypass was the worst pain without a doubt.  I was in pain on my left side at my incision for a whole month.  I look foward to hearing from you.  Also let me know what you could do after on different days to give me an idea.

Hi  Jodi...

I have no pain, except for the burning on my left side left of the belly button...It's getting better, but when that pain hits it really hurts, but it is happening less and less as the days pass...I can get up on my own and not need anyone around to help me...I can not take a shower by myself as of yet, I'm just way too weak to do the shower by myself...Actually, I thought I would be stronger by now, but then again, it's only been 6 days...I'm very happy with how I feel...My incisions are not a problem at all...a little tender, but that's it.

I had the ON-Q pain pump which kept the pain at bay for three days after surgery..was suppose to last 4 days, but for some reason only lasted three...I could tell when the juice was gone for i stated having the intense burning pain...

I really can't do a lot right now...I will feel like I could jump over the moon, and then, after about 10 mins., I have got to find  a place to park it...! I feel myself getting stronger everyday, though.

I'm afraid I'm not much help, but I hope this give you some idea of what you could experience...Just remember Everyone is different.

I wish you the very best as you go into your surgery and after...I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers...Be sure to let us ALL hear from you...God Speed, my friend..!!
