I am so grateful for everyones prayers and their sharing of experiences!!! It really helped me to better prepare for this. I FEEEEL GREAT!!! I'm absolutely in shock over how GREAT I am feeling, and NO not just because of good drugs. I'm moving around great! Not doing alot, but when I go to potty i walk around the house a few times, not feeling exhausted or dizzy. I just came back from seeing my surgeon and he's thrilled with my appearance and happy with my movement. I have 5 drains and I go back to see him next week wednesday.

I had my lower body lift yesterday, Monday. Yesterday when I went to go Peee, I passed a mirror, lifted up the ol gown and could get a good peak at my BACK SIDE & THIGHS! And while I didn't have those areas worked on, it sure did look like I did!!!!!! Of course I will still get my thighs done next year, but, what a dramatic improvement I could see in those areas. Later I will post pictures, and I think you'll be amazed too!!!

Anyway, came home around 5:30 pm used a walker to get to the house from car. I felt like it was the longest walk of my life! Not due to pain, but how slowly I needed to walk!!! LOL!!! Getting in and out of my husbands truck was actually very easy for me.

I started my stool softener right away. Did some serious amounts of water, got in a protien shake and added my favorite fiber cereal (has 14 grams of fiber, I used 1/2 of it, grounded it up). I have been using my alarm on my phone to remind me to take my meds., and using my NOTES app. to list the time and medication I have been using. I SOOOOO LOVE MY PHONE!!!!! And a bendy straw was very helpful last night!!!!!! I can sit up fine now, so I really dont have to recline that way to drink.

I am so LOVING my potty seat!!!! Its the one that looks like a walker. WOW what a great piece of equipment worth obtaining! I found the walker at a thrift store for $3.00 and my potty seat was ONLY $20!!!!! And my potty seat was in perfect condition!!! So if you havent purchased one yet, no need to pay alot of money, just head off to the thrift stores and you'll findem cheap!!!! I have an easy enough recliner and I LOVE my little neck pillow!

Anyway, thats alllll for now folks!
Time to pop a pill!

Wonderful to see you up and posting Carmen.  Glad everything went well.  It is an amazing thing to look at yourself the first time isn't it, just blew me away.  I'm getting my pics up in a day or two, can't wait to compare.

Carmen!  Whoo Hoo!  You are sounding just great!  And you've got everything very organized and you're just taking it slowly.  I hope I can be that smart when my time comes.  Thanks for all the great tips on stuff that's helping you.  I'm going to copy and paste to start a list for myself.  Looking forward to a post about your continued easy recovery.   Take care, hugs, Jenny
