Any one have a panniculectomy and hernia repair at the same time?  If so, can you tell how it went?

Haven't had anything yet, but that is exactly what I am needing, too.  I have recurrent incisional hernias in my lower abdomen.--I actually am hoping they'll go for a full abdominoplasty to reconstruct the abdominal wall, cause it's a mess....  Let me know what you find out, and I'll do the same.

I had a panniculectomy and small hernia repair 12 days ago.  So far it is going well and I am healing nicely.  I have been 100% off pain meds for 24 hrs now (probably could have done it sooner) and am only taking Tylenol.  I am mobile enough that I'm planning on getting out and driving today.

Results?  I am 12 days out and it's hard to tell.  I am having a hard time with the swelling and my new shape....

Hi there!
I had a penni and a hernia repair at the same time. You can not even feel the difference, you just need to take extra care of yourself after surgery. You don't want to lift anything or bend over to push or tug anything. You need to really, really take care of yourself.

Hope it helps.
