You could talk to your doctor about ultrasound or lymphatic massage?

I did have an ultrasound. All is good. And I am getting a lymphatic massage soon. I think I'm just impatient. Thanks!!

I'm 6 months post op from an extended TT and I still have days where I swell.... Most people could swell up to a year! Keep wearing that garment and be patient, you just had major surgery!

Thanks. Sadly, I am not very good with "patience". But things are getting better. I can see my hipbones today!!

I'm 6.5 weeks out and still pretty swollen.  The tummy doesn't bother me much, but my ass sure does!  I get swollen on the top, just above my incision line and it bothers me.  I'm also wearing my compression constantly and will be getting a lymphatic massage soon.

Sorry I'm not any real help, but misery loves company, eh?

i'm just about 3 weeks out from an extended tummy tuck with lipo.  swelling is bothering me too but doc says it's normal.  from all the research i've done, it's just a matter of time.  also there were opinions out there saying to limit sodium and drink lots of water.  if you think it's too much swelling and you don't have drains in anymore, def contact the doc.  i did and he manually drained about 75 cc from me on thursday.  i go back tomorrow for more follow up.  hope this helps!

I had barely any swelling, until I got on the plane to go home, and made the mistake of ordering some food at the airport. I had been eating good food with no added salt, but the airport food was processed junk, and by the time I got off the plane, my baggy over sized clothes were literally bursting at the seams - I could hardly walk!!

I ate NO MORE SALT - NONE - and the swelling went back down. We may not all work the same way, but for me, lots of water and zero salt leaves me with negligible swelling.
