Up Date...

glad you are doing well....... wish i was. between the swelling, the burning and the drains i am overwhelmed. add to that that i am itching like crazy and am not sleeping well and you get a pretty miserable picture. i got in the shower yesterday and the only thing it did was wear me out.

I was also a bit apprehensive about my first look in the mirror.....I'm guessing maybe it was a fear of being disappointed?  I'm still not sure!

I had a couple of days where I peed and peed and peed and it was my body getting rid of a lot of the excess fluids (from IVs?) and my weight dropped a bit and my feet and legs were much less swollen afterwards. 

I took my first shower with my husband in the bathroom.  If I recall, he did end up helping me wash a bit as I didn't want to bend way down to get my legs and feet.  It was tiring, but it felt so nice to be clean.
