multiple procedures and pricing?

So I've been thinking more and more about doing a breast lift with my brachio (not that I have figured out how to pay for just brachio yet lol).

Does anyone know the rough price differences between having the two done at the same time v. separately? Does the combination save you enough $ to make the harder recovery worth it?

Your thoughts?

Thanks much!

Do some web searching of plastic surgeons, when I did I found many of them list approx costs.

My PS will only keep you under general anesthesia for 6 hours or less - so he "stages" multiple procedures on time, best procedures to not debilitate you so much, etc.

I had to have my fleur de lis abdominoplasty and brachioplasty in an acute care hospital (instead of PS outpatient facility) due to asthma and irregular heartrate - so my costs wouldn't compare because of extra expense.

I did travel out of state (4 hr drive - one way) and due to a complication have had to make weekly visits.  8+ hours every visit.  Although PS was specialist in body sculpting after massive weight loss - the time on the road is a consideration.  I can't imagine doing this out of country and having complications.

Just some thoughts.  Best wishes.

My surgeon believes in doing multiple procedures at once due to less time under anesthesia and less time recovering. I'm sure it saved me a little bit of money, but I did not ask for separate quotes.

Go for a consult or at least call a few plastic surgeons and ask.

I had an LBL, BL, brachio & medial thigh lift at one time.  Dr Sauceda uses an epidural and twilight sedation and can keep you under longer.  The price goes down as you combine procedures.  I wanted one recovery time.  I was off for 8 weeks.  I did a 401k loan.

Thanks guys:) I will ask at my appointment. The more I think about getting my boobs done the more I'm getting hooked on the idea. I think it would set my surgery date bac****il at least next Christmas though, in order to save the extra money (and build up some extra sick leave at work in case the combo keeps me out longer)... But I don't know if I can live with the batswings for another 18 months... I should try flapping them, I might actually take flight lol:)

I keep hearing about Mexico. I have to use CareCredit, so I'm sort of stuck with staying in the country... but I'm glad some of you get to do it down there! Sounds like the cheapest bet around. I'm still scared of IV sedation though... Not so much because of which is safer (I understand there is some debate about that), but because I just can't seem to get past the idea of not being completely "out."
