Nose Job Recovery?

I know this isn't related to weight loss, but I'm wondering if anybody here has had a nose job? I'm wondering how long after a nose job you can go out in public? How long do you have to have a bandage on your nose and such? Thanks for any responses.

I've had rhinoplasty twice. Depends on how invasive it was. My first was tough. I was in bad shape for a week. Had to have gauze taped over my nostril and if I moved to suddenly or bended down, it would gush with blood. By the end of the second week, I was doing pretty well. My second one was just a touch up and I only had 2-3 tough days.

Mostly I'm wondering how long I'd have to have a bandage on my face. Is that about a week?

Mine was bangaged about a week. I looked bruised for about 2 weeks, but by the end of the second week I looked much better.

I am so glad someone made this post....I have the typical ethnic wide tip nose.....and since my weight loss my nose looks bigger than my face....lol

I'm not trying to be a member of the Michael Jackson family...hahaha......but I would like to have my nostrils tapered and some cartilage or it may be fat taken out the tip of my nose....I don't want my nose broken though...

if any of you watch the Desperate Housewives of Atlanta or Celebrity Apprentice and you are familiar with NeNe Leakes....she had it done and it looks natural and great....not too dramatic and it still has our ethnic look!

Yep, I also have a wide nose and want to get it narrowed. My biggest problem is that I am just starting a new job and I see a lot of plastics in my future. I want to avoid taking too much time off of work and I'll only have so much vacation time anyway.

I might be able to ask to work from home for a week to hide the bandage thing. I don't really want everyone to know if I had plastic surgery as I am private and I wouldn't be able to hide a big bandage. Thanks for your responses!
