TT and Lipo Recovery

I am having a tummy tuck and lipo of the flanks and back on Monday. I have pretty much arranged to have staffing handled for my business for two weeks and am looking at perhaps needing more time covered. Any ideas of a time frame for being up and moving around well would be a great help. What was your recovery like?

2 weeks should be sufficent, as long as your daily work activities do not require very much bending, twisting, or heavy lifting.

I was able to get up and down from a chair on my own on the second day, and was off painkillers at 1 1/2 weeks post op.

I went back to wrok at 3 weeks, but i work daycare.  I still have to have someone else lift the kids up if they need a diaper change, but otherwise I can do everything I need.

Kinda depends on incision type for TT - circumferencial, hip to hip, anchor cut (fleur de lis).

More recovery required for anchor cut - especially if extending to between breasts.  More muscle work and more incision.

Everyone having hip to hip or circumferencial seems to recuperate quicker.
