6 days till panniculectomy

i had my preop appt and labs yesterday and the dr told me he is planning on releasing me from the hospital the same day. i am definitely more than a little nervous about this. i will be coming home with 2 drains, no binder and no restrictions!?!? where can i get a binder?

If your surgeon doesn't want you wearing a binder, then perhaps you shouldn't?  Have you asked why he doesn't?

The panniculectomy is only skin removal, as opposed to muscle tightening as with a tummy tuck, so perhaps that is why he feels this way and why there are no real restrictions?

It's odd how each surgeon has different views on things...I will be coming home in a binder and also he is sending an extra one home with me, so I will have a clean one on standby at all times...The no restrictions/ I REALLY DON'T GET HIS THINKING AT ALL ON THAT ONE..!! hmmm?
