Did ya wanna do something radical leading up to surgery?
Its 4 a.m., I have been tossing and turning all night looooooong!Didn't help any that I just had my pre-op
yesterday. For the last 2 weeks this surgery has been consumming
my thoughts!!!! I know its "normal", butttttttttt......
Anyway, for the last 2 weeks i have been toying
with the idea of changing up the hair. I have come close to just walking into a salon (any salon, not even the one I go to currently) and saying "off
with it!". I have searched
the internet high and low, sat in Barnes & Noble with stacks of magazines in front of me just entertaining with the idea! Warned my fellow co-workers with the "don't be surprised if I come in and have a green streak in my hair". And believe me, I am a far from "pink streak" person. Actually a pretty safe person.
Anyhow, has anyone prior to PS gone through this line of thinking too? Or is it just
me?
I do have an appt. next week with the lady who does my hair. I'm thinking and trying to resist doing anything too different and wait until after PS (which is in
2 weeks) to do anything to it now. The lady who does my hair currently isn't THAT EASY to get in with, so its not like I can just come in unannounced and do something crazy!Which really is a BLESSING in disguise!
PLEASE share with me your crazinesssssssssss!

Nov 10,2009 I reached GOALL BYE BYE 130 POUNDS! It wasn't about the FOOD, it was about what was eating at YOU! Time for a Head adjustment! **July 2011 Plastic Surgery Lower Body Lift
Exercise is not a LUXURY!
Exercise is a NECESSITY
Why Yes. My circumferential Lift (is that the samw as what you're having) is November 8th and I was thinking of running my first FULL marathon on November 5th. I have done 3 half marathons and I figured I could pull a full of in the allowed time (6.5 hours)
Well my husband brought me to my senses by remimding me how sore I am after running a half and how sore I would be after attempting a full, Oh and he says " You do know you're going in for a lift and an arm job 3 days later"
So he won!
But I say go for it gal!!!!

I literally planned my ps date 3 days after a long 35 mile bike charity event that I train for each year. My ps was toally on board as long as I didn't screw up my electrolites(sp). But, being 7 days out of LBL surgery, and knowing the long recovery still ahead of me - I would definitely make sure that I got out and about.! Good luck!

I was told that doing yard work would be out of the question after my surgery, and I worried about how I was going to rake up the leaves in the yard. It occurred to me that it would be a good idea to take a chain saw to the front yard and chop down my trees. Problem solved.
Power tools were taken away from me and I was sent to the beach for a few days right before all my subsequent procedures. Way better way to work off my nervousness!
So while the damage done wasn't to myself, I say be a rebel and go for it! Hair will always grow out, right?!
Good luck on your surgery,
Cindy
