My job including standing in front of people - not able to sit behind a desk.  It woudl appear that I will at least have one drain for quite a while.  I'm looking for any tips or ideas that worked - thanks!

I has the tube kinda coiled and taped to my leg w/ just enough for the bulb to go under my shirt where I had it pinned. No way to really hide the slight buldge but what it was wasn't visable to the public. I had 1 drain left in when I went back to work. It was there for 2 weeks. Not sure how much it's draining right now but mine really increase on the first few days I went back to work. The first day I didn't plan in having to empty it since it wasn't that bad at home. However by the end of the day it was so full it was draining out of the hole in my leg. My pants were completely soaked and I even had a gauze pad around that site. So word of caution, wear dark pants the first few days at work so if this does happen to you it's not noticable to everyone else around you.

I went back after 4 weeks. Once drain was just a PITA and wouldn't slow down. It finally came out after 6 weeks (I actually fudged the #'s to get it out but would have been out by 7 w/o doing that)

Thanks for the ideas and suggestions!  Keep em coming

I have 2 drains left and the one has slowed dramatically but the other is still going strong.  But as much of a pain it is - I can only imagine how uncomforable I would be if I didn't have it right now.

I would clip it to the mens underware, then the waistband of the terry cloth pants I was wearing would pretty much cover it.  When I was going out, I wore a little fanny back and stuffed the 3 inside.  Once I was down to one it was easier.  I also found using sanitary pads instead of gauze worked better on the leaking from the body where the tube was inserted.  The gauze would just get wet.  Plus, I was wearing L or XL tops.  The swelling pretty much took me out of my medium tops.  I couldn't wear any tight bottoms either, that's why the terry cloth or sweats.  Yoga pants are great now.
