What is the best way to devide up surgeries?

I had originally planed to get an ETT, BL, and lipo first...and then return in a few months for a small thigh lift and small arm lift. However, now I'm wondering if it would make more sense to get the ETT, and TL together, and then later get the BL and AL together...that way I would do lower body first, and then upper. What do you guys think?

I think it depends on the surgeon. Some will do the torso work together, some will not do arms and legs at the same time, etc. Consult with several surgeons to get their opinions.

I had my arms done first because they drove me insane. They were relatively inexpensive to fix and I can hide everything else pretty well with shapewear. Tomorrow I'm getting a lbl and bl.

I know you are excited!  I have 8 months to go and it seems to good to be true!  I've always felt so ashamed of my body, and to have the opportunity and finaces to have PS is a huge blessing!!  So I'm excited for you/us!

Are you going to try to post in the next few weeks?  If so, I'll follow you along your journey!  Can't wait to hear back after its all done!  Big hugs!

My PS wouldn't do the thighs along w/ a TT/LBL. He also didn't want to do my BL/BA at the same time as my LBL since both require a lot of work and I would be under anesthesia too long in his opinion. So that's why I went w/ the LBL and brachio together and then MTL and BL/BA a few months later. As Laura said each surgeon is different and what they may be comfortable w/ doing together.

Surgeon choice really.
Depends on what parts, how much needs to come off, any preop risk factors.

Mine are being split up.
I will have belly done (Fleur de lis) Aug the 8th.
I have a huge pannus and alot above the umbilicus as well.

Breasts and arms will be in Dec.

My plastic surgeon won't keep anyone under a general anesthesia more than 6 hours.

My fleur de lis tummy tuck and brachioplasty took 5 hours.

I don't think I will have any more done, but plastic surgeon suggested by the hours it took to do the different procedures.

I have alot of loose skin on thighs and sagging butt (they hide well under jeans) but I've heard too many stories of pain and poor healing with thighs - and since I had necrosis of TT incision and now have an open wound to take care of - I don't think I'm a good candidate for thigh or butt work.

Best wishes to you.
