Never say never

I really thought that I could 'fix' my face with fillers (juvederm etc.) but I finally recognize that I need a facelift plus.  It is not only time, it is past time.  I am 23 months out from my DS, down 115 lbs and READY.

I am working on getting scheduled with Dr S for this summer.  I'm scared ( of a lot of different things ) but hopeful that my new face will be a friendly face and make people feel that I am approachable.

Any tips are very welcome.  I'll be going to MX alone.

I can relate as I never thought  I'd have plastic surgery either!  But I will have a TT and BA next Friday.  A face lift sounds great and I bet you will love the results!  I can't give you any tips since I haven't been there or done that but I wanted to wish you the best!

I had three proceedures done with him last summer, and went alone.  You will be fine.  Ask him to book you when others are there.  The first time I was alone as he was leaving on vacation and didn't want to leave me behind alone.   The second time I had someone... it was better.  You will be fine, think you said only face right?  you will do fine :)

I remember before my DS, a coworker said, you're going to lose weight then need/want PS.  Said, nope just want my diabetes gone...  Fast forward 3+ years, and diabetes is gone, and all my extra skin too. 

I was only planning on the LBL & BL, but after see Dr S in SF last Aug, I asked about my arms, and a medial thigh lift.  Then I said what about this turkey neck, he said he could fix that too.  Then pointed to the fatty under eyes and the upper lids... he said a full facelift.  I was 58.  Just before my facelift, he said he wouldn't make me scary, and he didn't.  I do love my new neck and face, but they come after the new bewbies they are still #1!

I did go to Monterrey by myself, but Tom was there too.  He had surgery on Tue & Sat and me Thur & Mon.  You'll do fine on your own.
