Oh wow Steps.

My surgeon told me not to do any steps for 3 weeks.  He told me about a patient he had that did not listen and was "hopped" up on her pain pills.  She missed the last stair, fell on her bum, and popped out 4 inches of stitches on her back side. He had to take her back into the OR to restitch her, and now he is doing a scar revision, because the scar was so much bigger because of it.   That scared me into obeying the no stair rule.

If you are going to do those stairs be sure someone is holding on to you, and that you GO VERY SLOWYLY!!!!

My hubby will be with me.  He keeps saying he is going to carry me up the stairs....LOL.  Only have to go up them once, then down again the next day to go to our home.  I told him that he can help me but he is not going to carry me; I'd feel so silly.  Can you believe that the only part of this surgery that worries me is the steps?  Silly, isn't it?

I'm having abdominoplasty with the vertical extension and a pannulectomy on Friday. Is that what you mean by a extended tummy tuck?
