Hi everyone! When I lost all my weight, I hadn't planned on having any plastic surgery.  I was fortunate and ended up with only a little loose skin on my abdomen...but the bulge above my c-section/hysterectomy scar bothered me.  I didn't want to have to wear flexees everytime I wore something that was snug across the abdomen.  So, I decided I wanted a tummy tuck and, since I was having that, why not enlarge my breasts a little at the same time?

I had my consultation today and my surgery is scheduled for July 1st.  I am so excited!  I only have to have a tummy tuck, no liposuction.  I will have only one drain.  The surgeon told me all my exercise paid off as he does not need to perform any liposuction because all my excess is just skin!  I was surprised to hear that but thrilled about having only one drain.  I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I have been reading about everyone's experience and gained a lot of insight.  Thank you all!

Hi Charlene!  So good to see you again!  You look great so keep up the good work.  For some of us, the weight loss is a much slower, harder process and I think that is because we aren't all the same and our bodies like to do things at their own pace.  It is so frustrating!  I haven't forgotten the frustration of being a slow loser but am grateful for the end resuts.  Just hang in there, stay with the program and it will all work out!

A word of advice if you think plastics are in your future.  If your goal weight is the lowest weight you want, get your plastic consult before you reach that goal.  Plastics can be done when you are still a little over goal.  It killed me to have to gain 10 pounds in order to consider plastics but at a BMI of 18.5, it was recommended (by friends who had plastic surgery) so I took a deep breath and put on that weight.  Now I am concerned about whether I will be able to get it back off after I have recuperated.  I have been told that I won't need to lose what I have left because I will look thinner due to the flat tummy and the new perky boobies.  Hubby and friends prefer me at this weight as they felt I was too thin before.  I will see in a few months since it will take time for the plastics to show their total results.  Time will tell.  :)

Keep up the good work!  You will reach goal!
