Weird puffy MONS shape after LBL?

Ok, I've been researching on whether i want a tummy tuck or LBL.
Appears to me that LBL will pull the outer thighs and buttocks giving that smooth appearance from stomach to thigh.  However, i notice in all the after photos, the crotch area.  or the mons looks very weird, puffy and it looks like it's framed in a triangle.
Why is that?  I am thinking that when they pull the lower part of the body, the mons stays but the thigh skin around it is pulled up creating the mon's to rise?  Has anyone else noticed this?  It seems the regular tummy tuck is easaier on the mons.  Please let me know if anyone knows why it looks like that.
thanks!

The ones you have seen might be early on.  I'm two months out and mine looks normal now at first I was concerned about it.

I just had my LBL and the Doc told me to expect the mons to still be fuller.  He siad they basically just PULL the mons up with the LBL but don't do any actual shapping.  The shapping requires additional incissions on the inner thigh , so   that happens when you have an inner thigh lift.

I had a TT and am 2 months out.  when you consult with various PC's, closer to when you are ready to have your surgery,  be sure to talk with him/her about your mons area, and get them to help you plan the best solution for you.  I too had a concern, and the PC did tell me that in order to properly fix it,  he would do an incision on either side, to lift.  However,  he also said I could have a great improvement with just my TT and he would do some lipo also in the mons area.  WOW!  I love my Tummy and I love my new boobs...but I had no idea how much I would love my mons area....It's such an improvement and makes me feel feminine again.  I always had in my mind that later I'd maybe go back and have the full procedure, but I won't have to.

Good luck!  and I hope the best for you!

Mine was pulled up quite a bit with my LBL and is much better than it was before plastics.  I had more swelling in mine a few weeks ago, I noticed it's gone down a bit.  My plastic surgeon told me the triangle from your belly button to your mons area remains swollen the longest, even up to 3 months or more.

I had a very fatty mons area that Dr S lipo'd before lifting.  The swelling has finally gone down and I'm 5mo out.  My 3 mons drain holes are still very noticable.  Put it doesn't stick out like it use too.  Make sure that your PS lifts it as part of the LBL.  I've heard that some don't.

Also, with the LBL, it's not just lifting the thighs, hips and butt up, but pulling down some of the back loose folds too.
