did my pre op today!!!

excited! I am scheduled for a lbl on june 20th- monday Can't wait! I know I'll be whining about the pain but no pain no gain- or in this case lost!

Congratulations!!  My LBL is Tuesday, June 21 - we'll be on this journey together!   What did they tell you about your recovery time, etc.?  I've been told four hours of surgery and four drains.  I've filled the prescriptions that they gave me and now just need to get the house in order.

I was told 6-8 hrs and 4 drains.  he's giving me 4 weeks to recover, but upto 6 weeks if needed. he told me the drains will be in 4 weeks, ugh. I told him i didn't want to go back to work with those drains so we'll see....
