pain question

i had my brachio and BL last tuesday. im having pain with temperature changes. how long did you feel that lasting and how long before you could comfortably put your arms at your sides?

I am 3 weeks post op (today) from fleur de lis tummy tuck and brachioplasty.  I'm still wearing ACE bandages on both arms, but I can put a seat belt on and put a over the head (loose fitting) top on now.  I can also reach forward and behind.  I can put my arms over my head.  No lifting over 5 pounds.  I asked if I could use 2# weights to strengthen my arms (yesterday at my appt) and surgeon said "no".

My incisions are good - but red and raised in the arm pit area.  They don't burn anymore.  I've tried to stay in air conditioning until the incisions healed.

I've also had "hot flash" type episodes, but I had that before plastics, too.  No fever.

I was given the "OK" to drive and went for a short drive to Walmart today.  I still feel weak, but could maneuver the steering wheel fine.
