good brachio in southern california?

Okay, so I got CareCredit for $5200 and I can add some cash to that...

Now I'm looking for a good surgeon for extended brachioplasty (down through the armpit and below) in the Los Angeles area.

Who's really good and not hideously expensive? (Under $8000 would be nice.)

To be honest, I'm not all that impressed with a lot of the before and afters I see online... it always seems as though the after pic still has quite a bit of skin. Is there a reason for that?

I saw a guy in Dallas who's won all sorts of awards and his afters looked really firm, but... well... I'm not in Dallas...

Seems as though Los Angeles would be an easy place to find a good surgeon, but it feels more like I'm looking at an ocean of potential doctors and paying for their zip codes with nothing but their web sites to guide me.

HELP?

I am doing research on Brachio right now as well.  Perhaps some of the best arm work I've seen (in my humble opinion) has come from a Plastic Surgeon in Beverly Hills.  His name is Dr. Katzen.  His web site is www.bodybykatzen.com.  There is another surgeon in/around Houston but I can understand you not wanting to travel that far.  Good luck and let me know what you think.

Dr. Katzen is the greatest. Best bedside manner, talented artist, unbelievable commitment.

Not sure about California, but I must say my arms are awesome! Not trying to sound vain, but I do get lots of compliments on them, even from young people who do not know I was overweight. I'm very insecure about the rest of my body, but I love, love, love my arms!! 

There are good surgeons out there. Just keep researching!!
