Those of you who had butt augmentation.....

How long were you swollen and sore?  How long until you could sit/lay on that part of your butt?

I'll be 2 weeks post-op tomorrow from LBL with brazillian butt lift/auto-augmentation and my ass is the part that hurts the most.  It's swollen and sore and feels like I've got a rock up on each butt cheek.

My cheeks also don't quite meet in the middle (like they're spread apart).  I was told this would resolve as the swelling goes down and they settle in.

Thanks!

My butt aug was with implants, so this may not be too relevant.

I think the swelling has a lot to do with surgeon. I went to Pino because I kept hearing how little swelling folks had with him, so I in fact had very little in any body part longer than a few days. Most people I talk to though who have gone to many different surgeons, complain about swelling for many months, so I think that may be more normal.

Also, I've read that butts stay uncomfortable for a long time, and my always feels "different". Again, I had implants, but my butt was the least comfortable part of me, even after having my face and neck done, and staples all the way around my torso and down through the groin and inner thighs - still my butt hurt the most.

How long was it before you could lay flat on that part of your butt?

I was laying in a recliner immediately. Not comfortably, but right away.

It was at least several weeks until it was less painful, in part because I had metal staples all around, and they were in that long. The muscle in the butt is large, and it doesn't like being pushed around. I've yet to hear a person who had a butt aug say it was fast and painless. Hang in there.

Thanks for responding to all my questions!

How long ago was your surgery?  You say your butt still feels different.....is it just different or is it still painful or uncomfortable?

Never painful or uncomfortable now. I can just feel something foreign, when I lay on them, or sit or roll across 'em.

I was used to having a big old ass so I didn't notice anything really different, but of the things you've described I have read about or heard about as being normal.
