Post plastics weight loss
I was warned that I might drop some weight after plastics due to lack of appetite/increase in restriction, etc. So, I expected a little bit of a drop......
Let me go back. I was below goal before plastics and did not want to lose any more weight. In fact, I'd have been okay with gaining some back. I knew that I'd lose the weight removed during the LBL (duh!), but was looking forward to losing that skin. A smaller and firmer waist & butt - okay. Additional all over loss - not okay.
6 pounds were removed. As of this morning I'm down 12 pounds from my pre-LBL weight only 11 days ago. The past few days my appetite has returned. I'm hoping that this means my weight will bounce back up. I'm bony and really didn't want to get any bonier.
Tell me I'll gain some more weight! (Oh, the irony of the former fat chick trying to gain weight!)

Don't forget that many people can lose up to 10lbs of fluids during any major surgery. This can happen from actual physical loss but usually is the result of the body going on a kind of alert and converting the stored glucose and accompanying water (I think I recall 1lb glucose stored, add 2 lbs of water) .
This could easily be some of the missing weight. Give yourself 2 weeks and see how you do. Don't panic and remember...your butt probably looks awesome!

To heal, you need to eat. My doctor told me if I eat like he wants me to, I will most likely gain weight. He wants to make sure his patients heal properly. Post-op nutrition is important. (3 weeks until my surgery)

2 months out - lost 4 pounds in the 2 days before the surgery (did an LPT) then he removed 8.5 pounds during surgery - I am now 11 pounds below my presurgery weight and I would like to take off a few more but I am making sure I get in mucho protein to heal. I fill up very easily so much of protein comes in the form of liquids - shakes, protein coffee, etc.
