pre plastics pics.....

 did you show your befores to anyone? if so, were you comfortable to do so right off or was it something that took you a while to get the the courage to do? who all did you show them to?

I am scheduled for a LBL on June 21.  I will take pre-op pictures and measurements the day before.  Since I haven't told anyone that I am having plastics I don't plan on sharing.  But I so appreciate those here on the board who have shared their before's and after's so that we can see what we have to look forward to!! 

The only picture I had taken was by the surgeon - and I will probably not show it to anyone except my husband - but that's just me - I also have very few pictures of myself before my RNY bypass - just don't care about pictures and I want to forget the past - only have one or two to remind me where I was and where I could return if I don't follow the rules.   Again, that's just me.

Yes and yes.  I took pics and posted them on my profile, but to friends only.

It depends on your level of comfort and the type of surgery.  I was a little more open with my Tummy Tuck, but less with my BL/BA.

 Mine are on my profile. I wanted to show others what great transformations are possible. I have always drawn inspiration from others that have shared their pictures before me. We all have our own comfort levels and if you are uncomfortable showing your befores there is nothing wrong with that.

I'm having the LBL on July 7th, and I plan on posting the GOOD, THE BAD AND THE OH SOOOOOO UGLY...LOL.!

I know it's going to be a WARNING..WARNING..WARNING..PICTURES MAY CAUSE PERMANENT PHYSIOLOGICAL DAMAGE AND MAY PRODUCE PERMANENT BULGING OF THE EYES..!!! VIEW WITH EXTREME CAUTION..!!!!!

But...I want to share with everyone that will be coming after me...because the before's of EVERYONE has given me GREAT EXPECTATIONS and I hope to do the same..!!

Mine are on my profile so people here can see them - nice to know what you might look like after WLS and after plastics!! I have shown a few close friends and family as well.  I do that depending on the person...
