plastics and iron infusions
My plastic surgeon requires blood work to be done prior to surgery and as long as my levels were in good range I didn't have to have any infusions. It's not a good idea to go into surgery with a low hemoglobin count. It's also a good idea to have blood work done again after surgery to ensure your levels are stable. It really helps in your healing if your iron levels and blood counts are within range.
