If so, why or why not?  I've heard great things about the PS's there.  I'm also looking into Mexico and Costa Rica.  THank you so much!

I went to Costa Rica, and think that leaving the country isn't a big problem, as long as you have talked with your regular doctor, and know they will be willing to see you if you need some aftercare.

My big thing is just researching the surgeon regardless of what country you go to. There are great, and  lousy surgeons everywhere. I learned a lot a PSjourneys.com

Thank you Bear-Mom.  Do you mind telling me who you went to?  how long did you stay there?  did you have any problems when you got home?

I went to Ronald Pino. I stayed for 2 weeks, but I think his requirement was 9 or 10 days. I had a lower body lift, with tummy tuck and thigh lift, then a face lift. He wouldn't do them all on one day (which is good) but it does spread the time out that you need to stay.

I did get an infection after I got home, and he had me take additional antibiotics. I had lined up my pcp here in case I needed to see someone afterward, in case I had issues, but didn't end up needing her. He also wanted me to send him pics and video daily.

My belly and face are perfect. I'm likely going to need some revising to the lbl and legs, which is common, and those are covered with the initial cost, but I will have to fly back down.

I hear such good things about Dr Sauceda in MX too, and seriously considered him, but was scared of MX at the time of surgery.
