stressful day, now surgery tomorrow!

Well it was a very stressful day! Got up & left Dallas around 6AM to get to houston to see dr. Got everything taken care of and was doing the markup for surgery when he noticed something. I had always thought i felt a knot at certain times in my lower stomach but have had doctors check it out & they always found nothing. But while I was standing up for markup - he could feel it! Decided he better go ahead & send me for a CT scan and they might have to postpone surgery. Finally found out at 6:45 PM tonight that it is a hernia, but mainly small & filled w/fat. He said they'll still repair it but that surgery is still good! So.............say a prayer for me, gotta me there @ 6. LBL, lipo, butt aug and thigh lift! I can't wait to begin! Thanks for all the advice so far!

Good luck tomorrow. Prayers for a successful surgery. Good thing they found the hernia and it will get repaired. Post when you can and let us know how you are doing.

Happy your surgery is still moving forward and that your surgeon can repair things without delay...
I know you're excited and maybe a bit anxious...but girl, you are about to be a smokin' hottie..!! :)

Thanks so much for all your thoughts & prayers. Surgery went fine, they removed about 10 lbs of skin and repaired a tennis sized hernia. Yesterday was pretty rough, didn’t think I was going to live there for awhile! Today is tons better tho. The pain killers are working pretty well but I’m still pretty sore. I can’t really see how much better I look yet because I can’t bend over that far & it’s still all wrapped up. I have four drains & they aren’t so bad, just ugly hanging down! Thanks again for all your support and prayers!
