UHC

Does anyone know if United Healthcare will cover plastics?  Im only 6 months out but when my year is up, I want a breast lift, TT, thigh and arms.  I know it will probably not cover it all but I wander if it will cover any of it.

You'll have to call your insurance company to find out if they do. Each persons company can get a different coverage by UHC so what I have may not be the same as what you have even though we both have UHC. Each policy has different riders. I have UHC and read thru the entire policy and they don't cover any type of plactics and even goes to state recontructive surgery due to excess weight etc will not be covered. Thank god I had my plastics when I had Blue Cross & they covered it.

Mine paid for TT $10,000 after 2 denials.
Right now I have the same story with breast lit.
I already denied 2 times, but hope they will approve after external appeal.My policy covered TT and breast lift if PS proves it is medically nessesary.

Mine paid for TT, we made a strong case for medical necessity by documenting rashes and back pain for several months, plus combined the surgery request with a hernia repair. Good luck.

 I have United HealthCare.   I called them about a month ago and they said it has to be deemed medicaly necessary for them to cover it.   Good luck in getting coverage.   Most only cover the panni removal.
