Mine wasn't a T-incision... I had circumferential (so all the way around at hip level), and then the vertical anchor or fleur-de-lis cut.
If I can answer anything for you, PM me.

Hmm.. trying to figure out what you are saying. I had a under the boob , then down the middle, then across the bottom. I've been calling it a large tummy tuck... but really, it's an anchor and a T cut.. is this what you are describing?

Yes horizontally, underneath both breasts.. then the straight line down from breast bone to pubic bone, then the anchor.. so what the heck is this cut?? lol. I'm just so glad whatever it is, that it works. I lost 220lbs and most of it was stored on my belly, so he had a lot of work to do.

Wow -- that's a lot of cutting! I carry most of my weight in my stomach and will definitely need something more substantial than the "regular" tummy tuck. How did it work out for you with the cut underneath your breasts? I'm in the early stages of research and haven't seen anyone mention a tummy tuck like yours. Are you happy with it? How long were you off work to heal from it?
Thanks!
Thanks!
I am thrilled with it. I had all my surgeries at once with Dr. Sauceda in Monterrey. It was done under twilight and epidural so total was 13 hours of surgery. It was a fantastic experience. I would do it again in a heart beat. I had this large anchor , reduction and implants, and a neck lift for 11,400 that included a 600 credit in airfare, my hotel for two weeks, two sets of compression garments.. am I forgetting something.. I think I am. Any ways, so much extra skin about my middle I think he had little choice. I am grateful for him, and the love that he has for the giving patients back their lives.

And I may not be calling it the right thing - I just know I've agreed to a verticle incision on my upper stomach as well. I don't care about the scar - I'll never look good naked anyway!!! Renee - THANK YOU!!! That's what I was looking for - you look awesome!!!
I'm seeing my PS for my pre-op visit tomorrow. I'm going to ask for more pictures.
Thanks everyone!!!
