Zerona ... useful or useless ???
Hi !
i'm new here and hope i can get some advise... i have see on tv a procedure called Zerona...
it is a laser procedure that is non-evasive... no cutting, no down time, only takes 40 minutes and is done every other day for 2 weeks...
i've seen it on Rachel Ray, the Doctors ...
anyone hear about this ??? is it worth the money (not sure the price)... and more importantly DOES IT WORK?? is it just a temporary thing or long lasting?
thanks for your help

External low level laser does have some inetrsting effects on tissues in the lab, but I dont see any research or reliable clinical information that shows that it works on real people.
If I could get results without having to cut, I would have a lot less worry for my patients ! I'd have more time off instead of being on call all the time ! I'm already a trusted professional in body sculpting, think of the success I could have. Hahaha (sarcastic laugh...thats what the Zerona rep told me !)
Of course, if it was all hype, I would damage the reputation Ive strived to build up for 10 years. Ooops.
Well, dont trust me, read what these 47 people have to say about it:

well, dr. l, i didn't think you would have the time to write me but thanks for your input... i will be putting this idea about the Zerona on the back burner for a long while ,...
i had surgery for my stomache but my insurance would not pay for a tummy tuck so i got the second best and believe me its just that.. no belly button, a large muffin top , and a little "dog ear" on just one side ... i'm sure you would be too expensive for me to even consider but as i said,
"thank you" for your concern... it is greatly appreciated.

Hi Redjett. Right now we have SmartLipo, SlimLipo, CoolLipo, Laser lipo, Tickle lipo, ultrasonic lipo, Vaser lipo, and the list goes on.
Why so many liposuction alternatives ?
Because the big companies who bring this stuff to the market recongnize that obesity is a huge "market" in this country and there will aways be someone who is willing to pay for a single fancy-sounding procedure to "cure" them of excess fat that in reality requires a longterm committment and lifestyle change to correct.
Dont get me wrong....some of these things DO work for localized areas of fatn (and could help your muffin top) , and I use SmartLipo and ultrasonic. But the claims that you lose all these inches etc are often overblown.
The truth is unpopular, and makes for boring headlines...so nobody wants to hear about it.
