The anticipation is killing me...

It has been nearly a month since my doc submitted the pics and letter to insurance for my panni removal.  I'm planning to get an extended TT and breast lift.  If insurance pays for the panni portion than I can use my flex account towards the surgery.  If insurance deems it medically unnecessary then I am all out of pocket and will likely lose the flex dollars because of the limits on how it can be spent.  If insurance pays I will get it this fall, if not I'll wait until next year.  The stakes are high!  $4000 vs $11000.
The insurance company has less than a week to make the call...fingers are crossed!  Wish me luck!

My insurance took 7 weeks after paperwork was submitted to approve.  My doc said when it takes awhile that usually tells them they are at least considering it.  When they deny, you get that back quickly.

I hear you. I am so excited as it took me about 2 months to get approved. I have a date for June 6th to have my umbilical repair and panni removed. 5 weeks and one day can not come soon enough. Good luck and congrats to us both.
