Hi everyone!  I'm home, and on day 4 of my recovery  I feel remarkably good!  I truly can't say enough about the pain pump.  I don't feel nearly as much pain as I recall from my c-section, and I've had far more work done with this visit.  My breasts look amazing!  I truly couldn't be happier and am so glad that my hubbie and I didn't sucumb to the pressure of the nurses to go larger.  They look natural and like they belong to me.  My tummy scar looks good so far, and my drains have been slowly reducing each day.  Yesterday I took a shower (which was a major ordeal, because of all the compression garments) but I cried when I saw my body.  I just can't believe it's me, it feels like a dream.  I am so so so happy I did this.  It's been painful, scary and expensive, but I do not have one regret.  When I cried yesterday, my husband even said, that it made the $14,000 worthwhile.  He has been the best support.

I don't know how anyone could ever go through the recovry without someone who is strong to support you.  I'm getting more self sufficient each day (in fact, I was able to let my sweetie sleep through the night last night) but without him I would have never been able to get through it.  I am so grateful to him, and to all of you who have given me advice and sent me your good prayers and thoughts.  I have to say,  I expected the worse,  but it really wasn't as bad as I thought.  I highly recommend getting the pain pump if you can, and definitely stay on top of the pain, taking your pain meds on time as much as possilbe.....Last challenge I have is getting my bowels back on track...wish me luck!

Very happy it went well for you. What all did you have done? I am having anchor cut tummy tuck with muscle repair on May 12th. I am also having the pain pump. I cant wait to see the results.

So glad you are doing well and you like the results - even at this stage.

I had TT with anchor cut and muscle tightening 2 weeks ago but I didn't have a pain pump.  First 2 nights I took the big dope but after that ES Tylenol.  Can't believe 2 weeks are gone - and I am returning to work part days on Monday.
Having someone to help is a necessity, especially the first few days.  Having a downstairs guest room and bath help, too.  I can go up and down the steps but our bed upstairs is too high for me to get in and out of right now, at least until I see the doctor Monday and make sure everything adhered where the drains were removed.
I am still numb in many places, which feels strange but has certainly helped with the pain and with the drain removal.
I, too, am happy with my results and keep looking in the mirror enjoying not seeing that big belly!
