Not by much..but now, instead of July 21st it is July 7th...Sent in my $500 dollars to hold that date...I'm excited and anxious at the same time...JULY IS A HOT MONTH, HERE IN
Mississippi..and I'm thinking about that compression garment and the Hot, humid days of Summer...

Guess I'm thinking of the healing and the sweat...Do you Think I should be concerned that the healing may not go as it should..?

Lord, I can think of everything in the world that might "could" complicate this surgery...sheesh.!

I don't know about the TT per say YET, but I had a Tubal Reversal in the summer months, and EVERY time I went to the bathroom I took a hair dryer on Cool to dry my incision out then would put either the anti-biotic stuff on in the beginning then some Vitamin E oil after it was healed... It healed beautifully and you can barely see my scar now.... Just a thought.... I know you are supposed to keep them moist, but you want to keep the sweat from building up too....  So that is what I did and Healed up pretty quickly and VERY well.... AGAIN it was not a PS surgery, but it was a hip to hip cut..... Good Luck and I wish you the best....

Hello Shawn...Thank you for the advice, I will take all I can get and this sounds like a smart idea...
I will be having the LBL and my DH likes to keep the air up instead of down, but I'm thinking he is going to have to wear a Sweater if he can't take the cool or get out into the sunshine..LOL, but of course I think it's more the money he can see flying out the vents instead of the air...Maybe I will heal quickly and the swelling want be tooo bad and I will be able to keep him and myself comfortable..!

Thank you..I appreciate your advice..!!

I know what you mean, my first round is week after next, 2nd round will be first week of AUGUST!  I live in TExas so feel I'm probably looking at wearing the compression garment all summer long!!!  I just know I'll be inside ALOT this summer, kind of a bummer but will worth it!  Winter time would have been much more convenient, BUT............I'm not waiting!!!!  I can't wait!

Hi Cyndi..

Congratulations, your exciting day is getting very close...I wish for you the best of results with very little discomfort, and speedy -quick healing..!

I agree, I thought of winter being a muche better time, but I, too, do not want to wait any longer than I have to...I would have mine even sooner, but I have to wait until my daughter gets out of school for the summer and she completes city league ball...She want even get to play All-Stars this year and I feel guilty about that, but she says, "Do your surgery mom." "I can play All-Stars next year, when you are all fixed up, and too, you will look really HOT..!" Gotta Love that girl..!! LOL

I hope, WE both have very little, if any at all, discomfort with the hot days of summer and our new fashion statement we will both be sporting this summer..

The Best to you..!!
