i can't believe i'm doing this...

it was kinda the same as my sleeve surgery in that i left the hospital 10 lbs heavier than when i checked in because of all the IV fluids....  but i also got a 'reset' on my sleeve because i didn't feel like eating much during my stay.....   got all my restriction back, had to start over with liquids and mushies...  so now i am down a total of 25 lbs since pre-op....  and that does include the 10.6 lbs of skin i don't have anymore!

now i just have to keep up the momentum so i can get to goal....  i promised myself that i don't get the arm lift and boob job until i am at goal!!

I am surprised that you had PS before you were closer to goal. My Plastic Surgeon told me he doesnt recommend doing TT on patients who will lose more than 20 lbsafter the TT because the skin may loosen too much. It looks great though. I plan to have mine in 5 months.

it was a risk i was willing to take... yes, i would have liked to be closer to goal before getting the TT, but as i mentioned above, this was done by my wls surgeon in tandem with gall bladder removal..   he apparently knows the magic words to say to the insurance company to get them to cover it, and i'm okay with that because i am not working and would rather not raid my retirement account again... and my gall bladder was not in the mood to wait....  when he told me there would likely be a bit more sagging once i got to goal, i told him it's not likely that at my age i will be wearing a two-piece bathing suit or any other midriff-baring clothing, so i was okay with doing it now (i am 54)....

if i waited until goal, the insurance company would probably have balked at it if it came from a plastic surgeon....   i still will need brachioplasty and a boob lift, and i will deal with that once i reach goal (hello, costa rica!)

I'm right there with ya. I have hit a big ol' stall at 193 since Jan.
My body seems to be happy here.
I have a very large panni hanging down the front of my body after losing 160 plus pounds!
But I am looking bony in other places.

This panni is resistant. Just not going anywhere.

So...

My surgery is scheduled for Aug 8. (Fleur De Lis)

After talking with my plastic surgeon...the goal is 190 by surgery day.

I am going to up my exercise game for the next 3 months to get myself prepared, strengthen my core and get these few pounds off. Then I am ready to go!
