compression "socks" for arms?

Can anyone recommend something good for compression after brachioplasty?  I am still wearing ace bandages, but afterwards I would like to pick up something better...since my surgeons wants us to wear something for compression for 6 weeks.  The thing is, there is such a wide price range out there I don't know what is good enough for compression while being comfortable enough to wear for extende periods.  Plus, I feel like I need at least 2 pairs of whatever I get so I have a pair to where while one is in the wash.

I loved my garments.  I bought them on www.marenagroup.com.  If you go to my photos you can see what they look like.

I was given TED support hose normally worn on the legs. It comes in different sizes and I don't remember what size I was given - the PA gave me the size that she knew would fit. They cut off the ankle/foot part then placed that against my wrist to determine where to cut the thigh part off so that it fit me from the wrist to the shoulder. Surprisingly it stayed up the whole time I wore them. The previous poster's website, Marena has a long sleeve compression garment for about $70 where as the first site that came up in google for TED compression hose (open toe to thigh) cost in the low $20s.

BTW, unlike my abdominal binder, the TED hose could be machine washed and dried - so in a pinch, if you didn't mind going without compression for two hours, you could squeeze by with one pair. I was given 3 pair but frankly 2 were fine.

Yes cleos-mom!!  They are wonderful! I love them too!  AND they last forever!  Mine are still good after a year of wearing them to work every night.  I bought the ones that went past the elbow - I had a few that went to the wrist, but 3/4 sleeve is the best.

I wore the TED hose on my arms as well. They were very comfortable too and easier to use

I wore Rainey sleeves.  When the velcro gave out from overuse, I just safety-pinned the sleeves together.  These also helped keep the silicone strips in place (after the wounds are completely healed).
