For all who have had a tummy tuck and or a thigh lift would you do it again? How long were you off work? I've had consults with a couple of plastic surgeons and really liked one. I"ve got a date on the books for 6 weeks from now and guess just need reassurance from those who have gone through this.
From what I've read here, I'd be willing to bet most people are happy they got it done. I've had my arms done and love the results. I would do them again in a hearbeat, scars and all. I am hoping to get more work done soon.

I would do it again in a heartbeat. I was out of work for my LBL for 6 weeks. For my thighs I was only off work for 10 days but which it could have been a bit more. It was doable but I was very uncomfortable getting in and out of my car (have an SUV) and walking. However you may want to check about the results w/ having those 2 procedures done together. My surgeon won't do the thighs at the same time as the tummy because they pull in the opposite directions.
I'm very happy and would definitely do it again - even if it was self-pay.
I was off 2 1/2 weeks for LBL with anchor, breast lift/reduction, and arms, and off 1 1/2 weeks for thighs alone. Both times I did need another day that first week to stay home and sleep.
As with Sonnie, my surgeons do not recommend the torso and thighs at the same time, but for them, it's because of mobility after surgery. They will do arms/breasts and torso together.

I had an extended TT and BR/BL in mid-January. I'd do it again in a heartbeat - my only regret is that I wish I'd had it sooner (I'm almost 6 years out from RNY)! I was off work for 4 weeks - possibly could have gone back after 3 but I had the leave so I took it - it takes a while to get your energy back.
Who is your plastic surgeon (just curious since my procedure was done in VA)?
Best of luck to you!
