Panniculectomy vs Tummytuck

I got insurance to approve the panni and it will be $4000 to upgrade to a tummytuck.  For those that had the panni do you wish you had the TT? I am leaning toward the full TT.  I would like to see pictures of both to compare if you have any.  Thanks for all the help!!!

I LOVE my vertical cut! Looking at my pre-surgery consult and my after surgery pic, if they had done the LBL or panni alone, I would have still had a wedding cake instead of a muffin top with all the excess skin. That vertical portion gave me a nice sleek WAIST and I am thrilled!

i had enough saggy stuff/fat above my belly button, i would have been willing to pay the extra for the full TT.... fortunately, my doc knew the magic words to say to the insurance company to get it all covered by insurance....  don't know how he worded it, but they approved it!!

I got the insurance to cover my Panni and opted to pay the extra for a full TT.  Am scheduled 4/25.  Everyone told me I wouldn't regret it!  So I'll let you know.

I had a panniculectomy done on March 3......but I was blessed by my surgeon and he also reconstructed me a new navel and did some muscle tightening...

you can friend me and see some of my photos...I will post some more in a few days.....but usually with the panniculectomy only the skin is removed and no navel is promised and no muscle tightening so even if I did not receive the extra results the panni removal made a huge difference in my appearance and pain
