Implants or no implants with Breast Lift

So, I had a consult with a PS regarding my breast lift. HE said he could use the breast tissue but I would love to have the implant because I think it will look better. I cant get over my fear though of implant issues.. how did you decide?

i will need a lift (as soon as i can afford it)...   i don't want implants because i want my breasts to age along with me...  right now they are having great conversations with my belly button, but i'd love for them to be back on my chest where they belong....    but i have seen pictures of old women with implants, and they just look WRONG....

i haven't seen my own nipples without a mirror in about 25 years.....

Many surgeons now do bl/ba in two stages anyway.  The lift first, and then several months later, the implants are added.  It gives better results for those of us with long folds.

I am doing a BL with BA.  The Dr said, and I agree, that once he lifted the breast, I simply don't have enough breast tissue left to make a decent sized breast.  I have the rocks in socks things going..... just minus the rocks!  I only have the socks!  Sad but true.  So I am getting a C cup implant, it's the same size I have always been.  So for me it was an easy choice.  Hope this helps.

I'm having the same struggle that you are, because I want to have a good shape but don't actually want to be "large" or look "fake."  Basically, I want to look (with clothes on) like I have perfect natural breasts.  I'm even more torn now because I haggled a good deal for BA/BL, but then if I have just the lift without implants, it's only $600 less, so it feels like a waste to NOT get the implants!  Wah!

Dani, let me tell you they've come a long way w/ implants. I think if you get silicone under the muscle and a smaller implant (which is probably what you will only need since you say you still got some left) they look natural w/ or w/o clothes. They also feel real. Most people who meet me and I tell that I have implants don't believe me. Also on dates if the guy is lucky enough to feel them he can't tell I have implants. Actually argued w/ one cuz he thought I was lying to him about them.

Not "some," a LOT of breast tissue. I am still a 30F and I really just don't want them to look large, or to have increased sag after pregnancy due to implants, or the upkeep, or repeat surgery to replace them down the line.... but I DO want my money's worth!

ETA:  ...and I guess I DO want them round.  I'm not a big fan of the "ski-slope" effect they might have without an implant, so I really am torn.

yeah, that's a decision you'll have to make. I was just letting you know that if you do decide to go w/ implants they can and do look and feel natural.

Thanks Girl, I've definitely seen some beautiful implant jobs.  It's just so hard to know what's the right decision when it's such a personal thing!

I have been approved to have my breasts done.
But I absolutely do not want an implant.
I don't like the way they look.
I'm 47. I don't need or want "the look" of an implant.

Just my own opinion.

Surgeon says I have enough tissue to makea nice breast.
Without the implant, he said I will not have the fullness at the top of the breast.

Fine with me.
