How do you dress to disguise the drains?

My first trek out of the house post LBL is Wednesday, and I have no idea what to wear that will help hide the four drains. I was thinking I could layer with a lightweight jacket over a cami and shirt combo, but it's supposed to be pretty warm that day, plus I'm still swollen enough that wearing my pre-op clothing might be a challenge.

How have y'all dressed for camouflage? Any tips or tricks to pass my way?

if youre wearing a binder you can pin them to the binder (or a tanktop) and then wear a loose shirt over it.  I had  one of those looser off the shoulder tops that hid 4 drains fairly well although there were some bumps.  A few times when I went to the local deli I just hd it pinned to my shirt because i decided I really couldnt care less who saw them- my mom said it was disgusting though, but I'm going to be an urse and stuff that is pretty gross to other people has become normal to me so I guess maybe my perception is a little off lol.

I pinned mine to my binder across my lower abdomen. I layered a long cami under a boyfriend style long sweater over top. I felt secure with the long sweater because it covered that area smoothly and completely. I wore jewelry and make up etc. hoping that people were looking up toward my face and not down where there may have been something weird going on. I had one drain for several weeks - darn thing wouldn't stop draining LOL - for that one I was able to stick it over my mons area and surprisingly it looked fine - didn't look like a Ken doll or anything - but then I didn't have any swelling in my mons, might not work too well if you do.

Funny thing is that I believe the drains took up less space than my panni did before surgery, but I worried far more about the drains showing.

Okay, thanks girls. I don't have a binder or any kind of compression garment but have been keeping them pinned to a cami underneath my pj's around the house. It sounds like I'll be able to get away with doing pretty much the same thing when I go out. I never had a chance to go through all my spring clothes before surgery but I think I have a couple of more peasant-style tops that should accommodate the drains.

I appreciate the input!

The peasant-style and babydoll tops worked best for me!  No one had any idea!
