I am not sure what type of surgery you are having...but you cant RUSH plastic surgery recovery.  As a friend once posted here...if you dont have time to HEAL, you dont have time for surgery.  What if you develop complications while on vacation...what are you going to do then??  Bottom line...I would have the vacation first, then the surgery.

well people that have surgery in Mexico fly in about 10 days to get home. depends on what u r having done and how well u heal. With all the plastics that I have had I was alway well enough to return to normal within a month, but then everyone is different.I like to be able to do things for myself. i dont like people waiting on me & i dont want to ask for anything
.I am strong willed and dont like to be kept down.
my first PS was a TT & a hysterectomy at the same time & within 2 weeks I was fine couldnt lift anything but I was walking great , I was able to drive 8 days post op cause I wast taking anypain meds.
I find the narcotics made me sleepy, woozy & constipated and when I was awake from them I had no discomfort so I did a lot more then I should have & then at night I would hurt so I just stopped taking them & felt SO much better
u will be fine
