Vanderbilt Univ. Medical Center Cosmetic surgeons????

 Has anyone on here had any experience or heard of anyone who has used the surgeons at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In particular Dr. J. J. Wendel? He was refered by a friend who works with him but I dont know of anyone mentioning him and he has no before and afters on his site. Any input would be much appreciated. 

You might want to post this on the Tennessee board, to see if you get any feedback there.  Or, look at the reviews on the plastic surgeons.

While I don't know Jason (Wendel) personally, I'm friends with several of his partners and former residents who think he's a very talented surgeon.

In the Nashville area (where I did part of my training) I can attest personally to the skills of Drs. Mary Gingrass, Mindy Haws, Dr. Pat Maxwell, Dr. Brian Tierney, and Dr. Robert Garza. ( I was trained by Haw, Gingrass, and Maxwell. I was a resident with Dr. Tierney, and I was faculty for Dr. Garza). They are all outstanding surgeons and good people.  All of them except Garza are based at Baptist Hospital, who's office is at St. Thomas.

If you're doing part of this as an insurance case, I would suggest Tierney & Garza as they do more of a mix of cosmetic and reconstructive and I assume their office infrastructure is more attuned to the approval processes for that.

 Thanks for the reply. I am no where near Nashville I aam in Fl.. The only reason I considered this person/team is that he is a friend of a good friend of mine and came recommended. However I cannot find much info on him , not even testimonials
