I went for the implants because my surgeon told me that I would be a small B after the lift. Too small for me. I left it up to him for the size of the implants just saying I wanted to be proportionate for my body. Maybe check w/ the surgeon to see if you can initially pay for having implants and during surgery after they do the lift see if it looks right for your frame. If it appears too small add the implant but if it looks fine w/o just go w/ the lift. They should be able to refund the difference after the surgery. Should be able as they do tend to staple or stitch the lift and sit you up to make sure you are even. My surgeon even did this after putting in the implant to see if he needed to go up a size. Just a thought.

Thanks Sonya!  That's pretty much my worry.  I mean, how do I know if the surgeon's idea of "proportionate" is MY idea of "proportionate" or if it is actually enormous pornstar boobs (see Dr Ray on "Dr 90210"). 

Guess it depends on how much you trust your surgeon. I told him I was looking for a full C/small D, something that fit my frame. Also said I didn't want to be playboy big either and just wanted it to look natural. I got great results and most people don't know they are fake unless I tell them. Maybe if you take pictures of the size of boobs compared to body shape as well as look at his work you'll feel comfortable w/ his judgement. I wouldn't have done that w/ Dr. Rey as I would have come out w/ DDD

I guess I actually like my breasts the size they are now.  If they get any more than a little smaller, I will be disappointed, so I think I'll probably need an implant to keep that size.  I'm consulting via phone and email with surgeons in MX and will request more before/after pictures.  I have a pretty good idea of how I want them, so it may help to point out a picture of how I want them to look.  Thanks!

I had a breast lift with auto-augmrntation.  It is also called a spril flap.  They rotate your side boobs into litfted breasts.  I went from a 36DD to a 36/38DD.  I am not perky like with implanst, but my breasts are high and all me.  This is something to think about.  Loris

Yes, I've seen it done that way, but I don't have side-boobs.  In fact, I have very little fat anywhere on my body at this point except my boobs!

I go for my first consult Friday.  It's a 3 hour drive.  I want brachioplasty.  I went to find bras last night and couldn't find any at Kohls.

I was a 42 DD and now is a 36 C.  The top of bra cup is folding in pleats because nothing  is there.  I tried 36 B and the side boobage hanging out was ugly.  I decided to wait until my consult to see what could be done.

I also want consult on lower body.  That's where I lost my most weight - hips and thighs.

When I made consult appt they wanted to know how long I had been -100 pounds.  It's been over a year and they seemed OK with that.  I think I'm at goal but I've lost weight every month this 2nd year and I'm sure I will stop soon as last month was on -1 pound.

I'm also 61 yrs old, so I don't want to have perky boobs - just want to look OK with clothes on.

Also don't want to pay a fortune since DH of 43 yrs doesn't really care about loose skin.  He's just glad I'm healthy.

Good for you, Girl!  I have to admit, I already think I look damn sexy with clothes on so this is purely a naked-thing, but to be honest, my sagging breasts have bothered me since they grew in at age 10.  I would love to be able to wear a normal bathing-suit or go without an underwire bra for once !  It would also be great to be able to shop for bras in a normal store.  I guess I'm just SO frightened because it's such a personal thing.  My opinion of what is too big or too small is totally different from someone else's and I'm unconscious when the final decisions are made.  It's freaking me out!
