Finally after a lot of paperwork, appts, and red tape I got my TT, BL and Aug sceduled for April 25th.

Nervous but excited as all get out.  Thank you to everyone for answering questions and providing details of their procedures and recovery etc.  It's so helpful, I appreciate it!

me too...TT and ,Aug for April 19th!  Im so excited, but now that I've booked it and it's scheduled and paid for, I'm so nervous!  Mostly about the pain.  Since my RnY three years ago, I've also had an appendectimy.  I'm not much of a solder when it comes to pain.....and as I understand it, the TT and Aug is a doozy!  Still,  the payoff will be worth it I'm sure.

The other thing I'm stressed about is making sure that I pick the right size for my new boobs!  I am very small chested and always have been.  So, I'm afraid of making too drastic of a change...but the surgeon's staff keep telling me to be careful not to go to small or I'll be disappointed.  Still,  I want to look like a better version of myself when I'm done,  not change who I am and have always been.  does that make sense?  sheesh!  so much to think about!

I am finding it difficult to PICK the right size as well. I have always been a DD but since I have lost so much weight I am a deflated D now.

I want to be able to shop in regular stores so I know I want under a DD, be firmer than I am now (34D)... but terrified that if I go one cup up I may look like I have gained weight. Its a hard choice to determine where you want to end up. I don't know if I should just get a lift and aug to just fill what I have lost or go a size bigger. Choices Choices.

I'm so jealous that you ladies don't have much time to wait. I have nearly 3 months to wait. lol

3 months, that is a long time, sorry!  But at least you can watch our progress and hopefully learn a thing or two that may make yours easier.

Yes, the size choice has a  lot of variables involved doesn't it?  I just went with a C because that's what I have always been.  I'm pretty little so I don't want those to be the first thing you see when I come into a room!  LOL!

I'll just be happy wen it is all done!  I am excited to have perky boobs with nipples that are where they are supposed to be!  Now wouldn't that be a treat!

I guess the time will go more quickly than I think.  I'm going to just work on Spring cleaning so that I am sitting in a really clean house to recoup in.  Nothing is worse than sitting and looking at clutter or dust bunnies you can do nothing about!

Good luck and keep in touch!

Oh you are a week ahead of me.  You'll have to let  me know how it goes and what to expect.  I'm really nervous about the pain too!  I've had 2 c-sections and gastric bypass and gallbladder and full hysterectomy, you'd think I'd be a pro at this! LOL!  But I am nervous.  I think it's because I have a 3 & 7 yr old to care for afterwards.  Just preassure to get back into it agian quickly.

I'm 5'1" and 117lbs and have always been a C cup (except when very heavy then more like a DD) I have not much left now.  B- and flat, flat, flat.  I chose a full C cup.  The Dr told me that the bigger the implant the more droop and chance of bottoming out it has.  The heavier it is the more it will sag later.  So for me, since I am petite (haven't been able to say that for years!) anything over a C would make me look like I'd fall over I think.

Plus, I don't want to have to taylor any clothes or have to buy  a bigger size to fit the boobs!

You are so right both of you, it is a hard decision with lots of things to factor in!  I think also what cup size you are to begin with.

Good luck, stay in touch and let me know how you are doing ok?
