I don't have all the information from my doctor but she sounds very hopefull that I will get all my proceedures.  I guess the insurance guy told her some "key" terms to mention when we submitt next time.  What the insurance wants is a more aggresive try with ointments and powders and support garments and documentation on why each item wasn't working.  Also if it is preventing me from workouts and that it interfers with daily living.  I need to meet with my doctor once a month for almost 6 months and each month try something different.  Then try to submitt again.  I guess when the plastic surgeon submitted for approval she got all the codes wrong, the codes she submitted were more for plastic surgery and the codes the insurance wants is excesion of redudant skin in the certain areas.  So now we have a definate path and the correct codes to submitt and in a few months I hope to get this done.

This sounds so hopeful. I am going through the same thing! I have been to the doctor each month for skin irritations. I have Cigna and they denied me on the first attempt. The procedures are covered if medically necessary but they sent me a letter and refused to schedule a peer to peer. I am going to keep trying because it is a covered benefit of my insurance. I will pray for us!
