Post surgical garments after TT and BL and Aug?

Hi, I was wondering what you wore and for how long after a BL and Aug.  I know you have a special bra, how long do you wear that for?  Do you wear it night and day or take it off at bed time?  When can you wear your own bra? 

I will also be doing a TT and know I will need some sort of binder or Flexees, Spanx type of garment as well.  Again do you were it all day and night?  When can you sleep without it?

 I was provided with a bra and it was on me when I came to from surgery. Same with my binder for my tummy tuck. I went by my surgeons guidelines. I think I switched out of the surgical bra after a couple of weeks and went into a firm fitting sports bra. I wore it 24/7. I didn't start wearing my underwire bras until about 2 months out.

I wore the surgical binder about 2 weeks 24/7 except for showering. I went from the binder into a flexees girdle type of garment and again I wore it 24/7 for about 3 months. I had very little swelling.

Your surgeon should give you guidelines as to how long to wear each garment.
