VERY VERY few plastic surgeries are covered by insurance of any kind.    If lucky you may get a panniulectomey (sp) covered if you have lots of rashes and pain due to it.   Breasts are covered if they are very large and they can remove a LARGE amount of them.    But most people just plan on self paying for plastics.

Medi-Cal has made some serious budget cuts! I do not think that they cover any plastics. Even if they did, I think you would have a really hard time finding a surgeon who accepts Medi-Cal for payment since their pay scale is so low. If you find one, let is know!

Medi cal does cover certain surgeries if you need them, it is determined on a case by case basis.  But they have already approved my breast lift and now Im waiting for my tummy tuch approval. :)
