Breast lift with implant - 25lbs away from goal?

I work in a school so my vacations are fixed. I have a vacation in 3 weeks and am desperate to have a lift with implant. My next vacation isnt until the summer and it gets too hot here to even consider surgery in July.

Currently I am around 25lbs from goal (in three weeks I hope to get this down to about 18-20lbs away)

Will this affect the lift if I go on to lose more weight? (I'm 28 btw)

I'm also considering a tummy tuck at a later date. Again will this affect the look of the lift?

To those that have had the surgery how long did it take you to recover?

Thanks for your help

It depends on your body my  boobs have been about the same for the last 100 pds so not really worried about losing any more of them. in fact I think they may of been bigger when I was younger and weighed less now they are droopy.  So i'm going for it now.   If your breasts fluctuate with your weight it might make a difference.

So your breasts got smaller with weight loss and then at one point they stopped shrinking?? Just asking because I still have 30lbs to go and I'm so scared I'm going to lose what little I have left lol so that gives me hope that maybe they'll stay this size and I won't need surgery!

As for the original question, it doesn't seem like 25 lbs is enough to affect the results of a lift. I'd say just make sure to keep doing toning exercises that will keep skin tight. I had my arms done and LBL with 30 lbs left and my surgeon said it won't cause anymore excess skin in those areas when I lose the rest of my weight. I'm also in my 20's (23 on Sunday).

I would wait until you get to goal. I've lost a little weight since my lift/implants and now my breasts are sagging again, my surgeon is going to redo the lift and remove more skin for me. You just never know... for some reason my breasts didn't start shrinking until the very end of my weight loss.

I am NOT happy about another 3 hour surgery. If I were you, I would wait.

I would wait til you get to goal as well. I lost volume in my boobs throughout my weight loss but it really came off during the end when I got to goal. They just deflated! If you have your lift now, and lose more volume in your chest... the lift may not look as wonderful as it had. It's only a couple extra months to wait. I am getting my plastics in June... you can wait with me. lol Good luck!

Thanks everyone for your input and advice.

I've decided to wait until October as I think I will need a tummy tuck at the same time (my tummy weight is the last to go!).

I don't think my breasts will change too much (I've always been bigger up top) but I know my stomach will and if I decide to have a tuck I think it's better to have both procedures done at the same time.

I think my main hurry to have my boobs done is that I have a new boyfriend (have been together 6 weeks) and everything is great and wonderful, but I'm too embarrassed to get naked in front of him. It doesn't help that he's totally in shape with pecs and 6-pack! But I'm not complaining! He says he doesn't care but he just wants me to be happy and comfortable with myself.
