I am five and a half weeks out from my pannicectomy and I would not do it again!  How about you?

I didn't have a pannicectomy but had the full LBL, brachio, BL/BA & MTL and yes I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Except for my thighs there was minimal pain and the results are well worth it.

Why would you not do it again?  Pain or don't like your results?

I had a lot of complications, if you read my blog on my profile page it tells more.  But God definitly showed me that there is more to life than my loose skin, and almost losing my life over it wasn't worth it.
I know that each person has a different experience, and what may be true for me, may not be for someone else, so I am happy for those that have had a great experience, mine just wasn't.

Sorry to hear about your complications txhotmomma. I am glad you are okay. I had a TT 7 weeks ago and yes, I would do it again. But I didn't have any problems. The muscle hurts more than I thought it would (if I lift too much)  and the swelling is a pain but it will go away eventually.
take care!

I had my panniculectomy 5 days ago.  I'm now 24hours without pain meds and doing ok.  Just ok, because I did some shopping and made dinner - I'm sore.  No complications, and happy with my decision so far.

Sorry that you've had such a difficult time.  Hope that things are continuing to improve for you.

Yes I would ... but I'm single with no kids.     As you said there are complication risks of every surgery.   Did they determine where / why you were bleeding internally?    So glad they got it under control.  Not sure if you saw the post about Mickie passing ... but she also bleed internally ... went into shock and didn't make it so hearing your story I doubt if I were you I'd do it again either!   Glad you are here to tell the tale but honestly these things happen from time to time.   We all need decide what we are willing to accept as far as risk.

I had a brachioplasty and breast lift in November 2010.

If I had to do it again, I would do the brachio without the breast lift.
My  new breasts are higher, but smaller -- and the incisions are still sore.

I was saving for a tummy tuck later this year, but have dedided that I am done ---- no more elective surgery for me.

I didn't have a pannicectomy but had the full LBL, brachio, BL/BA & side of chest.and yes I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Except for the aggressive lipo to my thighs.which I had last wednesdaywith my 2nd round of plastics. The lipo has been the worse.
